Apnaware is the houseware division of Sarvottam Polymers Pvt. Ltd. ("Apnaware", "we", "us", "our"), with its registered office at B-906/907, Western Edge II, Borivali East, Mumbai 400066, Maharashtra, India. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the rights available to you.
1. Information we collect
We collect information in three ways:
- Enquiry form: name, company name, email or phone number, product interest, approximate quantity, and any requirement details you enter before the enquiry is sent to us via WhatsApp or email, together with a record of the consent you give when submitting the form.
- Direct contact: details you share with us over WhatsApp, phone, or email when you reach out to discuss a requirement or quotation.
- Server and browser logs: standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring page, generated automatically when you visit the site.
- Third-party resource requests: when your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts and the Tailwind CSS framework from cdn.tailwindcss.com, those providers may receive your IP address and browser details as part of the request.
2. How we use this information
We use the information above to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quotation, coordinate an order once a purchase order is confirmed, and keep our records of past correspondence. We limit processing to these purposes: responding to and fulfilling your enquiry is the reason we collect the data, and we do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing without your consent.
3. Consent
The enquiry form on our homepage includes a required consent checkbox that links to this policy. By ticking that box and submitting the form, you consent under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 to our processing of the details you submit for the purpose of responding to and fulfilling your enquiry. You can withdraw this consent at any time by writing to sales@apnaware.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out while your consent was in place.
4. Sharing and third-party processors
We do not sell your information. We share limited data only with service providers that help us run this site and communicate with you:
- Google Fonts: loads the Archivo and Inter typefaces used across the site. Google receives your IP address and browser details when the fonts are requested.
- Tailwind CDN (cdn.tailwindcss.com): delivers the CSS framework used to render the site, and receives the same request data.
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms, Inc.): used to receive enquiry messages when you contact us via WhatsApp or the enquiry form.
Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy terms, which we encourage you to review separately.
5. No sale of data
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to any third party for their own marketing purposes.
6. Data retention
Enquiry and correspondence records are retained for as long as needed to respond to your request, service an order, and meet our own record-keeping and accounting requirements, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights under the DPDP Act, 2023
If you are located in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Request correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Request erasure of your data, subject to any legal or contractual retention requirement;
- Withdraw consent for any processing that relies on consent, at any time;
- Nominate another individual to exercise your rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity; and
- Raise a grievance with us, which we will respond to within the timeline required by law.

8. International buyers and GDPR
If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we process your enquiry data on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to a business enquiry you initiated) or consent, where applicable. You have the right to access, correct, or erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Contact us using the details in Section 11 to exercise any of these rights.

This site does not currently set first-party tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details on third-party resources that may still receive limited technical data.
